Bar graph of annual laboratory reports of rotavirus infections in England and Wales from  2006 to 2016. Between 2006 and 2013, incidence of rotavirus was high with an average of over 14,000 cases per year in England and Wales. Following the introduction of the vaccine in 2013, cases fell to an average of just under 4,000 per year between 2014-2016.
